Following our earlier newsletter that we upgrade injection machines, here is some insight from a project currently in progress. The electrical integration development has been completed and the installation process is underway.
At this point it’s a teardown process, all the existing Fanuc controllers, drives and positioning motors are completely stripped out of their locations to make way for the new hardware, as shown in the progress photos below (click to see full size):

*out with the old Robot Controller
Although the wiring looks to be a complete mess, We are experienced enough to make sense of the crow’s nest of wiring to integrate to our new controllers to be installed. Here the integration development process is key to have all the existing functions controlled by the new controller.
